Absolutely in love with their lobster roll – a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I'm a lobster fanatic, and it satisfies my cravings perfectly. The fries are decent but don't quite match up to the allure of McDonald's. The fish and chips, while good, are nothing out of the ordinary. Still, for the lobster roll alone, it's a stunning experience that's definitely worth trying at least once!

My mom and I stopped in on our way to the theater. The outdoor seating was nice. The gentleman at the counter (I neglected to get his name) was so pleasant and helpful, as it was our first time there, and recommended downloading the app for a nice savings! The food came out so quickly and was delicious. Portion size was decent for price. My mom’s baked cod was pretty yummy, very light breading. My ahi was ok, not amazing, but the other items - slaw, pickled red onions, sweet potatoes, etc… were all amazing. Overall we were both very satisfied s with the food, service, and presentation.

We went to this spot for lunch and it was simply okay. The fried fish taco was top-notch. However, fish & chips had fries with minimal texture or flavor. Tasted like basic frozen fries with Old Bay. We also tried the lobster taquitos... These were just NOT good. Furthermore, it left a horrible fishy taste in your mouth that was overpowering. Overall, get the fish, hold the chips.

Come here for lobster roll and fish taco, no regrets at all. Lobster roll is fresh and delicious with fries included. Fish taco is well balanced with fresh fish meat. Nice staff, good location inside UCI.

Excellent customer service!!! But Must be under new ownership... definitely not the same .. fyi .the menu has changed a lot and they no longer have the Grinder!!! the fountain drinks are coke products......so disappointed...the main reason I drive so far here is for the grinder and natural fountain drinks...but they took it all away 😞

I had an amazing time at Slapfish this past weekend. I have grown up loving Slapfish and have seen the restaurant evolve over the years as I spent time here at home and on the east coast at school. I have to say that the Slapfish I ate at last week has truly shown me that slap is back and here to stay. I tried a few items off of the truffle line which were absolutely delicious and was even surprised to see that they had some new teas in house for drink options. Good came out hot and fast as per usual leaving me for a peaceful meal on a Friday afternoon. Hats off to the the team at Slapfish for continuing to try and keep your quality of food and service high.

Came here wanting the lobster roll but it was a bit too expensive for me, so the employee recommended the lobster grinder instead. It was loaded with crab and shrimp, and it was spicy but not too overwhelming. It tasted delicious and the fries were great too.

Seafood fast-casual eatery right across the UCI Campus. Parking is available in the shared lot and there are always people coming in and out. They’re currently open for both indoor and outdoor seating during covid as well as takeout. Credit cards are accepted and you order at the counter and receive a number (if you’re dining in). They have a water station available right next to the drinks fountain. The outdoor tables are spaced out and plenty of them are shaded. They have a happy hour with deals on food during the weekday and also have a good range of healthy options. Of course, I enjoy indulging whenever I eat out, so I opted for the Clobster grilled cheese with fries (you could also opt for salad). The bread was nicely toasted and there was a good mix of cheese, although there was less lobster/crab than I liked. The fries are well seasoned and they come with a small sauce of your choice. For the salad, you can choose the fish you’d like as well as the sauce type.
